Geographic Indexing In counties where ETTC owns abstract plants, RecordsOnline is a true online abstract plant, which means the records are geographically indexed. If you’ve ever spent time looking at all the documents from an online Grantor/Grantee search, you will appreciate this feature. Geographic indexing weeds out irrelevant documents, which saves you time and money. (We are in the process of adding additional counties in areas we do not currently serve; in these cases, we'll provide you with the best possible search criteria we can obtain from the county clerk or the title company).
Reliable Records In the counties where ETTC owns abstract plants, our records are reliable, backed by East Texas Title Companies’ commitment to quality and a name you know and trust: Celia Flowers, Attorney & Owner. You have additional peace of mind knowing that the ETTC-owned plants are licensed and audited by the Texas Department of Insurance; TDI requires us to update our records within two weeks of county records updates, so you’re always getting the latest information available. If you do happen to find an error or omission, we offer online error reporting, and we guarantee all issues will be addressed quickly. You will be notified when the issue is resolved, and all updates will flow through to your runsheet.
Trip Back in Time Most online records providers simply duplicate the records offered online at county courthouses. At ETTC, we have backbuilt many of our online plants to sovereignty, the 1800’s or early 1900’s; in most cases, we also provide images! You’ve Got Options Searches are lightning-fast and (unless otherwise noted) available by Survey, Abstract Number, Instrument Type, Date Range, Acreage Range, Volume/Page, Grantor and/or Grantee and Lot and Block or Subdivision. Most documents are indexed with brief land descriptions so you can see if your tract is involved at a glance, even with the most basic search criteria.

Document Retrieval Services For those who are not doing title searches or lease searches and just need one or two documents such as Deeds, Deeds of Trust or Right-of-Way Agreements, you can obtain the document for only $25.00 access fee plus $1/page. Probates and District Clerk documents that require sending a runner to the courthouse are only $50.00 per document access fee plus $1/page.
Flexible Billing RecordsOnline is billed monthly, with invoice options to individuals, brokers or companies. Users are billed by the hour, just like live abstract plant usage*, and your first hour is free – you only pay for copies! Brokers or companies can use our invoicing as an audit tool to stay on top of landman activity. Prices vary by county and group discounts are available. Email RecordsOnline@etextitle.com for more details. *We have a one-hour minimum per 24-hour period; after the first hour, we bill in 15-minute increments. You can login and out as many times a day as you want. We even log you off after 15 minutes of no activity so you don’t get billed if you get distracted and forget to log off! Training We offer a printed tutorial, an online demo (coming soon!) and in-person training at ETTC’s corporate offices in Tyler (view map) or off-site at your location upon request.
